Definitely in my dark romance era, and this one fit right in. It was a fun read—maybe not an all-time favorite, but I still enjoyed it a lot. The manny trope? Absolutely delivered. The tension and banter between Rafael and Omari were everything—sharp, addictive, and honestly what kept me hooked the whole time.

You’ve also got a messy family dynamic thrown into the mix, which adds to the drama and emotional weight. That said, definitely check the trigger warnings before diving in—this one doesn’t hold back.

Overall, not perfect, but definitely a good time if you’re in the mood for something angsty and intense.
