Watching them work through their past instead of just brushing it aside made the relationship so much stronger and more satisfying.

I would honestly read anything this author writes at this point. They just get queer romance. The emotion, the longing, the chemistry — it’s always there, and this new series is already shaping up to be something really special.

This book was so freaking good. I’m such a sucker for a second-chance romance, and this one delivered in every possible way. The history between the characters added so much depth, and you could feel that the love never really went away. It just simmered under the surface, building that delicious tension that had me completely hooked.

What I especially loved was the communication. Yes, it took them a bit to get there (because growth!), but when they finally did? It felt earned. Honest. Real. Watching them work through their past instead of just brushing it aside made the relationship so much stronger and more satisfying.

And the town? I adored how everyone was quietly (and sometimes not so quietly) rooting for them. It added this warm, community-centered feeling that made the romance even sweeter. There’s something magical about a whole town believing in a love story.

I enjoyed this from beginning to end, and now I’m absolutely feral waiting for the next book. If this is how the series starts, I cannot wait to see where it goes next.
