The love interest is down bad in the most delicious way.
— Abigail Books Addiction

Low key, I was nervous to start this book. I kept wondering how the authors were going to pull this off—especially considering the father was low key a menace to his sons. Not abusive, not a complete monster… but definitely intimidating enough to make me question how this story was going to unfold. I should have known better. I should never doubt these authors.

They did what they always do.

If there’s one thing they know how to write, it’s spicy, dark, queer mafia romance—and this one? Completely off the chain. The tension, the angst, the emotional chaos? Chef’s kiss. It’s messy in the best possible way, and I loved every second of it.

And let’s talk about the romance. I don’t mind the age gap at all—it works here. It adds to the power dynamics, the intensity, the forbidden edge that makes this genre so addictive. The love interest is down bad in the most delicious way. The devotion? Unmatched. This man is committed no matter what. Through the danger, the family drama, the violence, the heat—he stands ten toes down for his man, and I ate that up.

It’s spicy, it’s dark, it’s dramatic, and it absolutely delivers. Once again, these authors proved why I trust them with my dark romance heart. I should have never doubted them.

If you love morally gray men, messy loyalty, intense devotion, and spice that will have you fanning yourself, this book needs to be on your TBR.
