I honestly enjoy reading anything Jill Shalvis writes—she just knows how to deliver emotional, feel-good romance every single time. This book was no exception. I literally finished it in one sitting because I couldn’t put it down. The romance between the former rivals was absolutely adorable, and the slow burn was chef’s kiss. I loved watching their tension slowly turn into something deeper and sweeter. The female main character was especially great—so determined, strong, and easy to root for. Overall, this was truly the cutest romance story and exactly the kind of cozy read I was craving.
