this sequel is a wild, emotional ride with even higher stakes and deeper connections
— Abigail Books Addiction

I’ve been waiting for this sequel ever since the way the first book ended absolutely wrecked me—and wow, it did not disappoint.

So much has happened since that cliffhanger, and honestly, nothing unfolded the way I expected. The plot is packed—way more than your typical romantasy—and I loved how layered everything felt. We dive deeper into the characters’ backstories, which added so much more emotional depth, and the world-building? Still incredible. You can just feel the richness of it all, like the magic and history are woven into every page.

And the tension? Fire.

The forced proximity between our enemies-to-lovers duo is done so well. Every scene crackles with chemistry, and it’s deliciously angsty in all the right ways. You’ll be screaming at them to just kiss already, but also savoring every slow-burn second.

What truly kept me hooked were the twists and turns—completely unexpected, and yet they made perfect sense in hindsight. I thought I had the story figured out more than once, and every time I was wrong. And that ending?! I’m still reeling. I can’t believe where we were left off... I need the next book now.

If you loved the first book, buckle up—this sequel is a wild, emotional ride with even higher stakes and deeper connections. Truly a standout in the romantasy genre.
