A lot of people were raving about this book, so I went in with pretty high expectations. While it didn’t completely live up to the hype for me, I wasn’t disappointed either. I still enjoyed the story overall. My main issue was the pacing—it relied heavily on a slow build, and I felt like it needed more to keep the momentum going. That said, I really appreciated the mythology retelling aspect, which was done in an engaging and creative way. It’s a solid read, just not quite as captivating as I hoped it would be.
