“this was another reminder of why I’ll always pick up their books”
— Abigail Books Addiction

Anything J.J. Mulder writes, and I will ALWAYS read it! They always know how to write such emotional queer romances filled with representation, lovable characters, and stories that make your heart ache in the best and worst ways. And Dryden and Spencer were no different! These two are so freaking cute that I want to protect them at all costs.

I absolutely love how opposite they are from each other, yet somehow, they fit together so perfectly. Their romance is a bit of a slower burn, which we LOVE! It gives us readers more time to form a connection with both characters, understand their feelings, and root for them as they navigate their emotions and figure things out. I was rooting for these two the entire time!

J.J. Mulder knows how to deliver emotional queer romance that pulls at your heartstrings, and this was another reminder of why I'll always pick up their books. Just be sure to check the trigger warnings before reading, as this story discusses some heavy topics.
