I always enjoy reading any of Ashley Poston's books. She just knows how to write emotional romance books. And Ashley knows how to write about grief so well that it always tears me up.
I will say that this book is a bit different from her usual emotional romance books. It's a tad slower pace that you don't feel the deeper feeling between the characters. It's not a bad thing. It's just not what you expect that throws you off a bit, but that's why I am letting you know now. You have been warned so it won't throw you off, and you will actually enjoy the story. It's mainly Joni's journey about what she truly wants in her life. It's something we all go through at one point or another.
