It’s heartfelt, angsty, and full of that slow-burning magic that makes the genre so addictive
— Abigail Books Addiction

As a longtime lover of second chance romance, this book hit all the right notes for me. There's just something so satisfying about former lovers being pulled back into each other's orbit—and this story delivered that emotional punch in the best way possible.

The angst and tension were perfectly done. I could feel every bit of the heartbreak, the unspoken words, and the lingering feelings between the characters. It was the kind of slow burn that makes you ache for them to finally get it right. I really appreciated that nothing felt rushed—the pacing allowed the relationship to rebuild naturally, which made their eventual reunion all the more powerful.

I’ll admit, the female main character did frustrate me at times. But honestly? Given how badly things ended between them all those years ago, her hesitation felt real and earned. It added depth to her character and made their reconnection even more meaningful.

Their reunion—years later—was everything. Bittersweet, emotional, and ultimately so satisfying. If you're a fan of second chance romances (or even if you're not yet!), this is the book to pick up. It's heartfelt, angsty, and full of that slow-burning magic that makes the genre so addictive.
