this story stayed with me long after I finished it
— Abigail Books Addiction

This book was so freaking good it genuinely made me tear up. The Open Era takes you through such an emotional journey — the pain, the pressure, the grief — and every layer of the story felt so raw and real. I loved how deeply emotional and character-driven it was, and the representation meant so much to me.

I do wish the romance aspect had been explored a little more because the chemistry and emotional connection were definitely there, and I wanted even more of it. But overall, this story stayed with me long after I finished it. Everyone needs to read The Open Era.
