I was so excited to read this book after seeing all the teasers on Instagram, and it definitely lived up to the anticipation. Like many fantasy novels, the beginning is a bit slower as the world and magic system are established, but the story completely takes off once it reaches the middle. From there, I couldn't stop turning the pages.

The twists kept coming, secrets were constantly unraveling, and every new revelation made the story even more compelling. I especially adored the main character. Watching her struggle with her own self-doubt while facing impossible challenges made her feel incredibly relatable, and I loved seeing her growth throughout the book.

The conflict surrounding the gods added so much intrigue to the story, and I can't wait to learn more as the series continues. One of my favorite aspects was the found family trope—every character brought something unique to the group, and their relationships made the journey even more enjoyable.

Overall, this was an exciting start to what promises to be an incredible fantasy series. Between the unforgettable characters, shocking twists, and fascinating mysteries, I'm already counting down the days until the next book. I can't wait to see how this series unfolds!
