I’m already impatient for the next one
— Abigail Books Addiction

I’ve been waiting for this installment in the series, and it absolutely delivered. This time around, the story leans much more into the fantasy plot than the romance—the romance is definitely present, but it feels more like a subplot, which actually worked perfectly for me. The fantasy elements were top tier, rich with action, lore, and the kind of worldbuilding that pulls you right back into the universe.

I especially loved the introduction of the new guardian and everything they bring to the story. Their dynamic added fresh energy while blending seamlessly with the cast. And speaking of cast—seeing past characters make appearances was such a treat. Their involvement didn’t just feel like fan service; it genuinely elevated the story.

The cute, funny moments between the friend group gave the book so much heart, and the found-family bond among the guardians is stronger than ever. Those relationships are honestly one of my favorite parts of the series, and this book really leaned into that warmth.

Overall, this was a fantastic addition to the series—emotionally satisfying, magically rich, and full of character moments that made it impossible to put down. I’m already impatient for the next one.
