Watching the characters slowly build trust and rely on one another gave the book so much heart
— Abigail Books Addiction

This book ended up being such an unexpected surprise! It started off a little slow for me, but once the story found its footing, I couldn't put it down. The mix of urban fantasy with mystery and case investigations kept things interesting, and I loved how every new case uncovered more secrets about the world and its characters.

The messiness and drama throughout the story made everything even more entertaining, and the found family dynamic was easily my favorite part. Watching the characters slowly build trust and rely on one another gave the book so much heart. The fantasy elements added a fun twist to the investigations, making each case feel fresh and unpredictable.

Overall, this was a really enjoyable read that has me excited to continue the series. I can't wait to see where these characters go next and what new mysteries, magic, and chaos the upcoming books have in store.
