This book ended up being such an unexpected surprise! It started off a little slow for me, but once the story found its footing, I couldn't put it down. The mix of urban fantasy with mystery and case investigations kept things interesting, and I loved how every new case uncovered more secrets about the world and its characters.
The messiness and drama throughout the story made everything even more entertaining, and the found family dynamic was easily my favorite part.
