I don’t know how Sabaa does it, but she ALWAYS has me hooked with her books. Literally, this had me on the edge of my seat throughout the entire read, and I don’t even know what to do with myself anymore. The tension, the emotions, the stakes—everything had me completely invested. Every time I thought I could breathe, something else happened and had me spiraling all over again. Sabaa really knows how to put me through it, and somehow I keep coming back for more. This was such an intense ride, and now I’m just sitting here wondering WHAT AM I SUPPOSED TO DO NOW?!
