A beautifully emotional read that I’ll be thinking about for a long time
— Abigail Books Addiction

There’s just something magical about the way this author writes — I find myself falling in love with every single story they create, and this book was no different. From the very first page, I was pulled into the emotional journey of the main character, who’s reeling after a painful breakup and trying to piece herself back together. What I love most about this author’s books is how they center on inner strength and self-discovery. Watching the main character slowly find herself again — not for anyone else, but for herself — was incredibly powerful and beautifully written.

Love wasn’t the main goal of her journey, and that’s what made it feel so real and heartfelt when it did arrive — as a soft, unexpected surprise. The romance is a true slow burn, and I lived for the tension, especially knowing that the love interest is her brother’s best friend. The way their connection deepened over time, from subtle glances to emotionally charged moments, was both swoon-worthy and satisfying. And yes — there are spicy scenes, but they’re crafted in a way that truly builds the romance and reflects the emotional intimacy between them.

This book had everything I love: heartbreak, healing, slow-burning chemistry, and a main character who finds her strength in the aftermath of it all. A beautifully emotional read that I’ll be thinking about for a long time.
