I’ve never read anything by this author before, so I went into this book more than ready—and it did not disappoint. I love diving into a dark romance whenever I’m in the right mood, and this one delivered exactly what I look for in the genre.

Dark romance often has more spice than people expect, especially if they’ve never explored it before, and this book is no exception. The heat level is perfect—intense enough to raise the stakes, but balanced so it enhances the emotional tension rather than overshadowing it. It truly made the reading experience so enjoyable.

That said, definitely check the trigger warnings. Dark romance isn’t afraid to dig into heavy topics, and this story discusses and touches on several that could be difficult for some readers. As long as you know what you’re stepping into, the journey is absolutely worth it.

Overall, a gripping, spicy, and atmospheric read that left me excited to pick up more from this author.
