Well, I needed a few days to think about how I feel regarding Great Big Beautiful Life. I won’t say that I don’t enjoy reading Great Big Beautiful Life, but I don’t love it as much as I did with Funny Story, Book Lovers, or Beach Read. It wasn’t horrible. I did enjoy reading it. It’s just a bit different from what I typically expect from Emily Henry. It’s not a negative thing, just not what I expected. I just needed a more emotional connection between the characters. I didn’t feel connected with them falling in love. I just needed more of their romance journey. With that being said, just keep it in mind so you won’t be disappointed while reading it. If you enjoy reading two interactive storylines that connect, then you will enjoy reading this book.
