I always enjoy picking up a book from this author, and this one reminded me exactly why. They have such a gift for writing deeply emotional romance—stories where the characters feel real, layered, and beautifully imperfect. I loved how messy everything was; the flaws, the miscommunication, the hurt. It made the romance feel raw and realistic, especially within the ice skating world where so much pressure already exists beneath the surface.

The second-chance romance combined with a slow burn was chef’s kiss. The buildup between them was so well done—every glance, every unresolved feeling, every moment on and off the ice carried weight. You could feel the history between them and the love that never truly disappeared. And when the walls finally came down? So worth the wait. The spicy scenes were absolute fire and perfectly earned after all that emotional tension. This book delivered heartache, passion, and healing in the best way, and I couldn’t put it down.
