This book had me on the edge from beginning to end, and every single revelation left me absolutely gagged. Just when you think you know what's going on, the story twists everything upside down and makes you realize we didn't actually know anything from the previous books. Every reveal is shocking, every answer leads to even more questions, and you'll quickly learn that everything has two sides.
I loved this book so much that I'm already planning a reread because I know there are so many details I missed the first time around. The details truly matter, and every book in this series connects in ways I never could have imagined.
If you're planning to pick this one up, make sure you've read the previous books first because this is not a series you can jump into. Every clue, every conversation, and every seemingly small moment pays off in the biggest ways.
This is easily one of my books of the year, and now I'm desperately counting down until the next installment because I need answers immediately. Carissa Broadbent really knows how to keep readers completely obsessed.
