loved the found family dynamic, which added so much warmth and emotional depth to the plot
— Abigail Books Addiction

I’d never read anything from this author before, so I went in both curious and excited — and this book absolutely lived up to my expectations. From the very first chapter, it had me hooked and entertained all the way through.

One of my favorite parts was the slow-burn romance. The chemistry builds so naturally that when the feelings finally start to bloom, it feels believable and well earned rather than rushed. That said, the romance is more of a subplot, so keep that in mind if you’re expecting a heavily romance-driven story.

The world-building is rich, intricate, and easy to sink into without ever feeling overwhelming. I also loved the found family dynamic, which added so much warmth and emotional depth to the plot.

And that ending… absolutely left me unwell. I’m going to need the next book in the series immediately.

If you’re looking for a romantasy with immersive world-building, a compelling slow burn, and a lovable cast of characters, this one is definitely worth picking up
