this was a fun and steamy read that surprised me in the best way

You know what they say—don’t judge a book by its cover. Well, let’s just say I was definitely misled by this one! With its cute, cozy fall-themed design, I was expecting a sweet little romcom perfect for pumpkin spice season. What I got instead? One of the spiciest romance reads I’ve picked up in a while!

That said, I was totally surprised—in a good way. The heat level definitely caught me off guard, but I couldn’t stop reading. The story pulled me in, and I kept flipping pages, fully invested in the chemistry between Autumn and Zane.

Now, fair warning: this book leans heavily into insta-love territory. While there’s a tiny bit of initial friction between the two leads, it’s resolved pretty quickly—within just a few chapters. So if you're looking for slow-burn tension, you won’t find much of that here. But if you're into characters who click fast and go all in from the start, Autumn and Zane deliver.

Overall, this was a fun and steamy read that surprised me in the best way. Just be prepared—this cute cover is hiding a lot of heat!
